If you get into a "box"ing match with God, the outcome is "absolutely" predictable....you lose!
I would offer a possibility as to why the Bible is not absolutely absolute; is it one of God's way to keep us in it? What if you read it through once and "got it"? Would you read it again? Would you be hungry for more? Would you be curious? Would you want more?
Once satiated, what's next? For me, it's the never ending mysteries, from my human limitations, that keep me in it. I am hungry, curious, in-satiated, impatient to find out what He will reveal to me the next time I dive in. And I ABSOLUTELY know there will be something new.....every time!!

Bo,

You are truly a blessing from God to MCC and the whole NH area.
I have been occasionally coming to MCC a few weeks before you had arrived with your family and truly enjoy your love for our Lord Jesus Christ. You have encouraged me and my family at services, facebook and
your books. Thanks Pastor.

This is something I struggle with every day, controlling my thoughts and keeping my feet on the path that Jesus laid out for us. I pray for His wisdom, strength and guidance everyday. I know I am imperfect but if I look to Him, He is there to take my hand and guide my steps.

Luke 6:46-49 NIV
"Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."

So True, even as I have met so many friends at church, I am still so alone all the time at home. Since finding Jesus, it not as bad as before because now I can pray. I try to fill the lonliness with serving, or through attending groups, but still there is no-one to share my day with or my life. All I can do is pray it will get better some day.

Sorry, wanted to elaborate a little bit because I feel like I didn't explain myself well because I used to word forgive.

I understand that we can not unite with God with our sin but I don't understand why God can't just remove it with out the death of Jesus.

Hi Bo!

I was wondering if you could suggest some reading material for me? This may be a stupid question, but one of the things I have always struggled with as a Christian is the whole concept of why God "needs" any type sacrifice to forgive sin. I.e. why can't he just forgive our sins in the same manner that he expects us to forgive others?

The resurrection of Jesus, I get. But when it comes to his death I feel like every other Christian is in on some secret that I just don't get. It just seems so pointless. I know I'll never understand it all, but this is a biggie.

Bo,
When I went to buy a copy of your book at the christian book store. They said lots of people were looking for the same book.
When they tried to order it they couldn't find it an asked if I could find out where they could order some. For me I just picked them up at church one for my brother and one for my husband.Thank you for being a man with God as his leader.
God Bless,
Cindy
